Use is the problem—regardless of whether the exploitation leads to pain and suffering.
Humans have turned animals into commodities: calories, leather, testing subjects, resources, entertainment, toys.
This is a consequence of a mentality that sees them as objects rather than individuals with an inherent moral value.
As long as we see them as "something for us", "something for our use", no reform, no laws or bans will not be a real change.
Animals are not commodities. If you think they are for your use, you are part of the problem.
Eradicate the exploitative mentality. Eradicate your own superiority. End animal use.
