I firmly believe that those who promote "lab-grown flesh" do so simply because they want to eat animals again. They have not stopped seeing them as food, as resources to be used by humans, they have not underst.ood veganism.
There are many self-proclaimed vegans who support this, even though they know that animals have to be exploited in the process, which is exactly the opposite of what veganism is all about.
The strangest thing about this is that they insist on calling themselves vegans for some reason, when the goal of veganism is clear in that it seeks to abolish the exploitation of animals by humans, no matter if fewer individuals are exploited. To think that we have the right to exploit some, that is utilitarian thinking, no matter if it is one individual, we have no right to use them.
The raison d'être of veganism is to change the collective human mindset so that we stop thinking that animals are there to be used for whatever purpose, with whatever justification.
Vegans, we need to understand that animals are not resources for humans.
UTILITARISM IS NOT VEGANISM, this must be made absolutely clear.
